At Dunbar Painting, we specialize in providing high-quality residential painting services to customers living and working throughout Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, New Westminster, Richmond, and Burnaby. As one of only a handful of professional painters to be approved by the Vancouver Heritage Foundation, our policy is to only hire employees — never subcontractors. Doing so ensures that every one of our employees feels respected and cared for while also ensuring that each of our team members brings that same respect and care to your home.

About CobyCoby entered the painting industry almost 20 years ago as a painter working summer jobs while earning his Bachelor’s degree at the University of British Columbia. After some disillusionment with the job market after graduating with a Bachelors of Arts degree, Coby decided to start Dunbar Painting Inc. using the knowledge of painting he had learned so far, and combining it with his desire to create his own destiny.
Since its inception in 2009, Coby has grown Dunbar Painting Inc. from a small seasonal business to a year-round larger scale residential painting business serving the Lower Mainland—primarily Vancouver. From the beginning, Dunbar Painting was created and grown with the same values: care, respect of time, and follow through. These values have driven Dunbar Painting Inc. to the business it is today.
When Coby is not focused on running his business, you can find him spending time with his family, or keeping and maintaining tropical fish tanks.
About AdiBorn and raised in a small town, Adi was always fascinated by the infrastructure of big towns and buildings. After earning his diploma in Computer Science, Adi decided to bring his problem solving skills to his preferred career as a painter.
Adi joined Dunbar Painting in 2020 as a painter. Over the last 4 years, he has risen up to a managerial position through hard work, dedication, high level of care, and an eagerness to learn. During his time working for Dunbar Painting, Adi has handled challenging jobs and situations providing him with a strong foundation for the leadership role he is in today.
In his spare time, Adi enjoys spending time with his wife and friends, as well as just relaxing at home.
About SteveSteve has been a highly valued part of the Dunbar Painting team since the company’s inception 15 years ago. Throughout his years at Dunbar Painting, he has helped shape the company into what it is today, using his eye for detail and determination to always do the best job possible.
Steve also enjoys problem solving and developing new techniques and methods that can help Dunbar Painting grow and improve. After years of working in a range of different positions, Steve is now the manager of Dunbar Painting in the field, managing all quality control, training, and onsite customer care.
When Steve has free time he enjoys listening to audio books, playing video games, and volunteering at RAPS to take care of surrendered cats.
