The Estimate

Ensuring our customers get exactly what they want is important to us. We then schedule a meeting at a mutually convenient time. Arriving punctually, we walk around your Vancouver home with you and discuss what you would like changed. We then discuss your needs and expectations, clarifying specifically so we give you exactly what you want. We offer various house painting solutions and explain what is involved in meeting your expectations. Our flexibility and knowledge of products and techniques allows Dunbar Painting to offer a variety of painting solutions. Once complete, we obtain your email address and promptly send you a copy of our proposal, detailing what will be done, the costs, our warranty, terms, and payment structure. The proposal is a confirmation that we understand exactly what you want, and an opportunity for you to make changes if required.

Painting Your Home

Once you have contracted Dunbar Painting to do a job, we schedule you in. Our painters arrive punctually and set up for either interior or exterior painting, carefully moving objects out of the way and covering all surfaces not being painted. Although prepping and painting can be messy, we keep your space as clean as possible, cleaning the site daily so it does not impact on your living conditions. Our Dunbar Painting staff are respectful of your space and your home. We find a safe and secure area to store supplies in a tidy fashion. At your request, we are happy to store supplies off-site. Dunbar Painting carefully prepares all surfaces for painting according to the agreed scope of work outlined in our signed contract. Careful surface preparation is followed with high quality paint, and paint application techniques. Throughout the process, we endeavour to be communicative, giving you updates on progress and, where applicable, giving you time to make any minor changes. Any major changes can be done, but may require a change order. After all surfaces have been painted sufficiently and all major touch-ups are completed, an inspection is conducted between you and Dunbar Painting – a last check to ensure that you are happy with the new painting!
